Daniel P. Moran
Dan Moran is the founder of Moran Enterprises, Inc. serving as Chairman of the Board and the Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Moran medically retired from the United States Marine Corps as a Captain after five and a half years of service. At the onset of his retirement, Dan directed his vision and efforts towards establishing a financial and social legacy for generations of servant leaders.
Mr. Moran is a combat decorated veteran who served in the Global War on Terror as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Dan’s international leadership includes strategic logistical movement, economic development, security and combat operations, and training & development internally for infantry officers and externally for foreign national political leaders. He is the recipient of the Purple Heart, Navy Commendation Medal with Valor, Navy Achievement Medal with Valor, and the Combat Action Ribbon. Dan is a member of the Board of Directors of Hope for the Warriors, a member of Marine 4 Life, and a Spokesman for Helping a Hero. In December 2010, he was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve on the 2011 Texas Inaugural Committee. In March 2011, Dan was appointed to serve as a state commissioner on the Texas Veterans Commission.
Mr. Moran earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced International Affairs from the George Bush School of Government and Public Service. While and undergraduate at Texas A&M, Dan was a member of the Corps of Cadets, The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band, Ross Volunteers, SEAL Platoon, and served as the Combined Band Commander his senior year in the Corps of Cadets. He has also participated in the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School and earned a Graduate Certificate in Finance from Tulane University.
Myles L. Evans
Myles Evans provides key strategic direction as Vice Chairman of the Board at Moran Enterprises, Inc. Myles brings more than 30 years of experience from corporate, national and international roles. His roles have provided him with a wide spectrum of experience in global energy management. He has been responsible for profit and loss (P&L), project management and execution, oversight for global strategies, leading joint ventures, leadership development, and interface negotiations with senior level clients, foreign government regulatory agencies, and distributors.
Myles has served as the Director of Health, Safety, Security, & Environment (HSSE) for Kellogg Brown & Root in the State of Qatar. During his tenure at Halliburton Energy Services he served as: Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) and Service Quality. Additionally, he has served as Vice President (Saudi Arabia), Chief of Staff, Global Product Manager, Global Product Service Line Coordinator, and Global Human Resource Development Manager.
Mr. Evans earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He also earned a certificate from the Mid-Management Program for High-Potential Managers at Southern Methodist University.
Victor R. Moran
Victor Moran currently serves as a Chief Financial Officer at Moran Enterprises, Inc. Victor has over 35 years of domestic and international experience in the private and public sectors. Mr. Moran’s vast experiences allow him to build long lasting relationships and serve as a leader and mentor in finance, corporate compliance and corporate governance.
Although much of his directed efforts have been aimed at the development of investment management and management consulting with US and international clients, Victor also formerly served as a senior executive of Swift Energy Company. Mr. Moran served in a number of corporate roles at Swift Energy Company including Sr. Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer where he was directly responsible for the company’s operating compliance groups including corporate budgeting & project evaluation, corporate administration, human resources, records management, and health, safety and environmental (HSE).
Mr. Moran earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and History from the University of Texas-Pan American and a Master of Business Administration degree from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. Victor also earned a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He holds the Certificate of Director Education from the National Association of Corporate Directors Institute and is a member of the National Association of Government Contractors.
David A. Moran
David Moran serves Moran Enterprises, Inc. as President. He provides strategic guidance to the Moran team on daily activities and direction for prospective projects and clients. David formerly served in the United States Marine Corps and as of February 2013 was honorably discharged for his completion of active duty service.
Mr. Moran has 7 years of leadership experience and has held postitions such as Infantry Officer, Training Officer, Platoon Commander, Executive Officer and Inspector Instructor in the Marine Corps. David has served in leadership roles across international boundaries as a Security Force Officer & Supervisor in Haiti, Africa, and Iraq. His diverse incorporated supervision of strategic logistical movement, operational implementation of biometrics systems, economic development of foreign law enforcement, security and combat operations, and training & development.
Mr. Moran earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Texas A&M University and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership Studies from the School of Military Sciences. While an undergraduate student at Texas A&M, David was a member of the Corps of Cadets, The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band, Ross Volunteers, SEAL Platoon and served as the Combined Band Commander his senior year in the Corps of Cadets. David graduated in 2014 with a Master of Public Administration from University of Texas Pan American. During his graduate degree, David was an active member in American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), ASPA Section on Professional and Organizational Development, and the UTPA Association of Public Administrators. He was also inducted into three separate honor societies to include The Golden Key International Honor Society, The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and Pi Alpha Alpha the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration. Mr. Moran was also the recipient of the 2012s Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. His Thesis is entitled Organizational Culture and Generation Cohorts: A Comparative Analysis Between a Public and Private Organization.
